/polls command

Introduction

/polls command in Google Chat is a feature that allows you to create interactive, emoji-based polls within your chat conversations. It's a quick and easy way for users to vote on options presented in the poll and see the results in real-time, facilitating group decision-making or gathering opinions on any topic of discussion.

You can also ask Hana about the poll results but for this the poll message must be in chat history context.

How To Use

  1. Initiate the Command: In your Google Chat, type /polls to start creating a poll. This command helps you create quick, emoji-based polls within your chat space.
  2. Specify Your Poll Details: Clearly define the question or topic you want to poll your team about, and provide the options for responses. You can use emojis to represent different choices, making it easy for participants to vote.

Example:

/polls "What's the preferred day for our team outing?" Options: 🌞 Monday 🌿 Wednesday 🌟 Friday
  1. Receive and Analyze Results: Once the poll is shared, team members can vote by selecting their preferred emoji. Hana will tally the responses and can provide a summary or analysis of the results if needed.
